So I decided to start up a 30 Day Drawing Challenge - where I would film a vlog-style video and include a timelapse of a drawing with a different theme each day, for a month. I was super excited to get started on it, but the further through I got, the less I wanted to draw the challenges in my list, and the more pressure I was putting on myself to make each video interesting, and every drawing something complete and different.
I eventually got to the stage where I was crippled by anxiety from putting so much pressure on myself and not doing any work because I really didn't want to do it.
After much deliberation, I decided that it was completely up to me whether I continued the 30 Day Drawing Challenge or not. I deduced that even if I was afraid of feeling like a quitter, it would be silly for me to force myself to continue with something that is making me unhappy and causing me unnecessary stress. I decided my time and energy would be much better utilised by being put towards something that gives me happiness and sets me down the path towards reaching my goals.
I surprisingly learnt a few things just from the 6 days that I did - so the challenge isn't a total waste of time! But it's just not right for me to continue on with it right now.
Anywho, here are the drawings I completed for the first week:
Day 1 - Something You Can't Live Without
Day 2 - Favourite TV Show
Day 3 - Something Yellow
Day 4 - Favourite Book Character
Day 5 - Favourite Movie
Day 6 - Something You Dislike
